About Haroon Hameed MD
After receiving his medical degree in 2001, Haroon Hameed M.D completed two years of general surgery and two years of research in orthopedic/plastic surgery. He also completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and a fellowship in anesthesia pain medicine. Afterward, Dr. Hameed became the CEO and founder of Duality, LLC.
Duality was founded in early 2021 in Washington DC by Dr. Haroon Hameed to cover technology research in medicine, artificial intelligence, and healthcare delivery that enables the production of highly interactive and personalized learning applications. His goal is to be able to make recommendations to healthcare providers to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This is done by developing a user interface that works with the APIs of various popular electronic medical record software programs, keeping track of previous illnesses, reviewing patient symptoms, and analyzing their complaints.
Haroon Hameed M.D. is also pursuing an MBA at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business focused on entrepreneurship, corporate innovation, and finance, a master's degree in artificial intelligence from Johns Hopkins University's Whiting School of Engineering, and a master's degree in machine learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
